Hi there! I'm a third year Wildlife Science major at Warnell. I think fish are cool too! When I'm not busy with Fisheries society or school, I spend my time going to concerts, ballroom dancing, and getting into all types of outdoorsy activities.

I was drawn to aquatic science at a young age, mostly inspired by fishing trips with my family. I loved catching fish but was really intrigued by them as well and I developed many questions that people around me could not answer. Like many things, this curiosity grew into an appreciation for fish and their environment. As I was exposed to more environmental science in school, the connection between human activities and changes in aquatic systems became more readily apparent. Environmental stewardship has become a passion and the conservation of aquatic resources is an underlying thread in all of my professional activities, from teaching to research and outreach.
